For a while, the word "witness" has carried a profound weight in my heart. It serves as a daily reminder that I am here to witness the incredible work God has done in my life, revealing who He is to as many people as possible. This reminder also calls me to share in humility, reminding me that I am not called to be the judge. God alone holds that role. I am just one beggar trying to tell another beggar where to find bread - hope.
Hebrews 12:1-2 beautifully encapsulates this truth: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."
I long to be part of the "great cloud of witnesses," where individuals, by faith, each have a story, a testimony of God's faithfulness. Each person’s life becomes a living witness to His goodness, mercy, and grace.
